A Brief Note

Let me say straightaway that this is not one of my regular blog posts. It is a brief note to update my readers and friends of my current state of affairs. I must hasten to assure you that I am well; sound of wind and limb as the saying goes. However.......

I have reached a point on my spiritual journey that requires a period of inner isolation, a more intense meeting with that ultimate reality that lies at the core, the heart and soul, of my being. I can afford nothing that will detract from that encounter, and that I fear includes my writings here on Gwynt. How long this period will last I do not know. I can only say that it will be for the foreseeable future. Beyond that I cannot tell, which is why Gwynt will remain open, just in case I feel drawn to continue to post at some future time.

I would like to take this opportunity of thanking everyone who has commented here, people I now count amongst my friends, for your comments which have been interesting, intriguing, penetrating and thought provoking. I treasure them all. Whilst it has become necessary to divert my energies to my inner journey, I will still reserve time to read your posts, and comment even if more sparingly than I have done so up until now. You have become too important to me to turn away from all contact with you.

I think I will leave matters there.

  5. Hi Tom,
Strangely enough, I had this intense feeling, from reading your last post that it would your last for some time.

I guess part of the reason maybe was your had explored your feelings and logic to a point where it seems time to stop and contemplate and let was is to be to be, so to speak.

In that regard I send you my best washes and ask that our universal creator in the light of that unconditional love and fulfilment, will keep you well and able to follow on in you’re on your intended spiritual journey.
Along the way don’t forget to smell the roses.
    Best wishes

  11. I feel certain that your silence will be fruitful. You remember your post on solidity and illusion? I've been trying to write a post sparked by that, but it fizzled out and I realized that like you I needed to go somewhere without words before coming back and being able to say anything. It is all to easy to fall into the age-old ruts of spiritual clichés and other people's interpretations, and you end up with the paint colours getting all mixed and muddy, so to speak, because the words and phrases and ideas even are so worn and shop-soiled. So we need to immerse ourselves in what's beyond words. And then, coming back down the mountain so to speak we shall let the words look after themselves, not to explain or define, but in some magical way we don't understand point to the thing that we cannot say.

  14. Bruce; Thank you. Even the requirement for solitude, at least long term solitude, may not be written in stone.
