About Inner Conversations - An Archive

I have decided to recommence writing. The surface reason for so doing is to remove the sense of needing to do this thing. The deeper reasons for so doing I am uncertain about. In any case, those reasons lie between me and my inner self. I have realised for quite some time now that putting my thoughts onto private files simply doesn't have the effect that writing a blog post has. It appears that I need to write as if someone else is watching. That observer, an internal presence, appears to be one which is best served by projection onto an outer audience.
Much that I chose to share in earlier posts will not be produced in this present series of posts. Why would I? My internal observer already accesses that deeper, more intimate information and with 'him' it is safe.
Thus you my readers, assuming such exist, will be looking into this new archive but with limited access. If you choose to comment, your remarks will be published as they are presented. I hope that some of you will share your experiences and thoughts with me, but there must be no sense of obligation to do so. For my part, I will write as it comes. To place any form of correctness, political or otherwise, on my writing will only block possible paths from which I could benefit. As always, I hope this approach will offer no-one any offence in any form.
But enough of explanations, a start has been made. I must admit to feeling somewhat rusty [it has been two years since my last post], but relieved. Perhaps already some inner purpose has been realised.

  1. Have greatly missed you, Tom. You've boosted my day already with your words above. Always enjoyed the inspiration of the old posts. I share with you this sense that scribbling away privately doesn't have the effect, to the extent that I consider my Wayfarer's site to contain my complete works.

Please note that it moved a while ago to https://rochereau.wordpress.com/ perhaps you can update your link.

Long may you continue, and enjoy that sense of inner purpose realised!

  5. Thank you Martha. Lucy and I are fine. Elfy our dog is somewhat under the weather, but we are in contact with our vet.

  6. Hi Tom,
Welcome back to blogging. Indeed, the inner voice must be trusted, as so do I, that it will be good, to read your subsequent posts.
    Best wishes

  7. TOM, (I shouted) I am so happy to see you back. May it continue. (Any chance that the lovely Lucy will also resume?) BTW, after reading your subtle announcement on Natalie's blog, I searched diligently for your site and in the random surfing discovered that gwynt is a Welsh word for wind. I don't consider your writing to be just wind and will look forward to reading your thoughts again. Welcome back!

    1. Hello Bruce,

It is unlikely Lucy will resume blogging. As she says, it takes an enormous amount of her time, and we are now heavily committed to our new house and immediate surroundings - laughingly called a garden. But it is improving!

Too many years ago now, Lucy arranged a surprise birthday trip for me to visit a 'wild' bird establishment. Whilst there I made the acquaintance of a Harris hawk with whom I spent some time. Her name was Qwynt. Yes it comes from the Welsh for wind, and by extension to Spirit. Thus she became the name of my blog site. there is something magical about working with creatures that are barely domesticated, who tolerate our presence. They get behind our defences and never really leave us. I have read similar experiences abour people working with elephants in S.E.Asia. Anyway, I missed her badly for months after that experience, and I still miss her on occasion.

I like to think that my writing comes from some internal Spirit, and I thank you for your welcome.

    1. Dear Natalie,

So good to hear from you. I have looked on you, from the time we first met, as a true spiritual friend. We may not always agree, but so what? Respect is just one of your lovely qualities.
